Unit 23 Vlog Script.

Hello, In this vlog I will be talking about three different events in deep detail.

The Jean Paul fashion exhibition in London is a cutting edge cat walk show flaunting the first major retrospective of the world famous French designer and features over 140 unique garments.

The show will consist of top models in Jean Pauls most iconic garments that have been brought to you since the 70’s. The show will also consit Madonnas incredible statement cone bra alongside outfits designed for Kylie Minogue.

The target audience of the show is stereotypically aimed at adult females who are into high end fashion. The show isn’t aimed at a younger generation as the clothing can look very fleshy in a obscene way.

The design and style of the environment will be very over blown and extraordinary, which will catch the audiences eye with the bright colours and excessive sparkle, this is making Jean Paul’s statement as his clothing can be very flashy and outrageous.

The location of the Fashion event will be in the Barbican in Silk Street London, which is a great one stop shop which immerses yourself in all cultural things and involves both theatre and fashion.

The suitability of the place is somewhere inside and clean, I think this because if the event was outside the clothes could get wet if there was a change of weather as it is held in quite a cold wet country, also the models would get very cold. I think the place should be clean because all garments by Jean Paul are very expensive and should be kept well and clean.

All clothes are the original Jean Paul clothing and are not copies. No one was harmed in the making of the event or the clothing and all clothes were made by highly paid employees and not made with cheap materials in sweat shops.

Health and safety has been took on board with the event, the catwalk is completely safe to walk on in high shoes and very sturdy. The building is 100% safe and no accidents should accure, no fire or anything that should set off the smoke alarm is involved.

The event consists of Ice skating, visiting santa, making mulled wine, fairground rides, Christmas stalls, chester zoo lantern magic at night and you can finish the night by making a wish to the giant wishing tree.

The target audience is families, because there are so many things for children to do, but certain things like mulled wine are more aimed at the parents. There are things you can do which involve leaving the kids under care at the fair ground whilst the parents go Christmas shopping.

The design and style will obviously be Christmas themed, Christmas lights and fake snow everywhere creates a very warm festive atmosphere.

The location of the event is Chester in Cheshire right next to Chester Zoo, which is also part of the event package.

The suitability of the event would be outside, the amount of families who will be walking about would be crowded if it was inside. There is plenty of space in the open to walk around all the stalls and reach all activities. Obviously since it is winter it would be suitable to have lots of layers and an umbrella handy incase there is some wind and rain, which is very likely.

All stalls and activities held in the area are licensed to be there, also there should be no inconvenience with items bought or with the staff.

Health and safety has been taken on board and there are staff available round places such as the ice rink who are qualified with first aid. Also the animals in the zoo have been trained to be friendly, and you will not have any close contact to any animals that might be harmful and dangerous.

The last event I will be talking about is the watch illuminated floats at the Guy Fawkes carnival. The purpose of this event is to get everyone together to see the effigies of Guy Fawkes to be burnt after the foiled Gunpowder plot.

The event consists 100 bright floats with music and dancing around twenty two thousand light bulbs which are required to illuminate the annual parade through the streets. At the end of the parade an explosive tradition occurs where hundreds of fireworks on sticks are held out along the road, giving the effect of light raining down. It is an unusual, but entirely unique and fun experience.

The target audience is basically everyone, it is appropriate for all ages and something genuinely everyone could enjoy.

The design and style is basically bonfire night themed as it is all aimed at Guy Fawkes. This means very bright illuminating colours connoting fireworks.

The Location of the event covers the whole of Bridgwater in Somerset.

The suitability of the event would be outside as it is very spacious and crowds up to 150,000 would be there. Also it needs to have enough room for floats and if we were to let fireworks off inside it would be an incredible safety hazard.

The event and floats are licensed so they are legally allowed to be here in this time as long as security guards are surrounding. The entire event shouldn’t offend anyone in particular and it is created for a good time.

Health and safety in this situation is just making sure no one tries to cross the bars because this could cause injuries and damage the floats, they also have security guards to make sure of this, this is also helping the firework situation, there are people there to make sure it is far away enough and can’t hurt anyone.

Thank you for watching my vlog, I hope you learned everything you needed to know about these events.
